Paul Gallagher arrives at court over rape and violent sex offence charges

Paul Gallagher has been pictured arriving at Westminster Magistrates’ Court today charged with rape.

Oasis stars Noel and Liam Gallagher’s older brother, 59, was charged last month with rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The charges follow an investigation which began in 2024 and relate to alleged offences that took place between 2022 and 2024.

Paul, who lives in London, grew up with his superstar siblings and is one year older than Noel and seven years older than Liam. He has nothing to to with his brothers’ band and works as a DJ and photographer.

A spokesperson for the Met Police told the Mirror in July: “A man has been charged with numerous offences – including rape, coercive control and sexual assault.

“Paul Gallagher, 59, of Manor Park Road, East Finchley, has been charged with rape, coercive and controlling behaviour, three counts of sexual assault, three counts of intentional strangulation, two counts of making a threat to kill and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

“The offences are reported to have taken place between 2022 – 2024. The charges follow an investigation which commenced in 2024. A woman is being supported by specially-trained officers.”
