Fans of Wheel of Fortune are divided over co-host Ryan Seacrest ‘s appearance during recent episodes.

One fan of the hit ABC game show took to Reddit to share a forum discussing whether the American Idol host, who recently took another tumble on set , his third this month, is stoned when he takes the stage with co-host Vanna White .

The fans wrote: “My wife swears that Ryan Seacrest hosts the show stoned every night. I think the idea is ludicrous. Outlandish, even. And yet, my wife is pretty savvy about these things.”

The person added, “She’s rarely wrong when her sixth sense kicks in. Her evidence? She says his eyes are the giveaway. Red and droopy. Could there be anything to this? (Not that I’d judge him for it, mind you).”

Tons of fans were eager to share their opinions about Seacrest in the comments section, with one person writing, “He just has naturally half closed eyes, similar to me He is low energy here compared to other shows and his radio show but of course, that means nothing. The man is just tired.”

Another defended, “He’d have to be high all day long while they’re filming. I feel like this is unlikely for Ryan,” to which the original poster shared, “Completely agree, but my wife swears on it.”

A third penned, “I mean it is a bunch of episodes filmed in a short period of time which differs from his other hosting (I think)? Idk I have low sixth sense for anything like that. But I’d imagine it’s tiring taking the 5th or 6th episode of the day. Has she watched American idol to compare?”

The poster responded, “Good suggestion! I’ll ask her to watch that and compare.”

Meanwhile, one fan agreed with the poster’s wife but also the other fans, “I wouldn’t be surprised if he partakes in his spare time, but I think he just has naturally heavy eyelids. My husband looks like he’s shithoused in nearly every photo there is of him. It’s just how some people are.”

Another was conflicted, too, writing, “would totally believe it if it were true, but I doubt it…”

One shared that they think Seacrest is stoned during the show, “I think there are a lot of drugs that are encouraged on set.”

A former contestant commented, “I did not have that impression one bit; and I was standing next to him. He’s very high energy in the commercial breaks.”

The poster added, “Oh, thank you for letting me know! You’ve given me the perfect ammunition to counter my wife’s argument. :). ‘A contestant just told me…’”

Yet another wrote, “Nah, he acts like this on Idol too. I do not think he is stoned or high.”

Seacrest took yet another stumble on set during a playful plank challenge during Monday night’s episode, which featured contestant Backy.

The two faced off in a side plank competition, and Seacrest was once again caught off balance.

“Becky, our fitness instructor contestant tonight, has challenged me to a plank-off,” Seacrest said in a behind-the-scenes video shared to Instagram.

“We’re going to do this wearing our shoes?” he asked. “Sure,” she responded with confidence. “Oh, man. Alright,” Seacrest said, already sounding unsure.

White stood by as the timer. “You have to watch your form,” Becky warned. “Yes ma’am,” Seacrest replied, glancing nervously at the camera.

The two began in standard push-up position, and Seacrest chatted with Becky, learning she’d been teaching fitness for 15 years.

“Oh, he’s down!” Becky said laughing as Seacrest blamed his boots. Moments later, his hips dropped. “Watch your hips!” she warned again.

“I just hosted a show – actually six shows! Give me a break,” Seacrest joked as he fought to hold the position. He nearly collapsed a second time.
