Aaron Rodgers is one of the best NFL quarterbacks to have ever stepped on an NFL field. Not only that, but he is also one of the most controversial players currently playing in the league, and he is now reportedly down to two options.

After heading to the New York Jets in one of the biggest off-season moves ever in 2023, Aaron Rodgers was projected to be the key that the New York Jets needed to win a Super Bowl; however, as many NFL fans know, that was not the case.

After being injured less than five minutes into his New York Jets tenure, Rodgers would attempt one of the quickest comebacks from a torn Achilles tendon in history to no avail. He would, however, return to the team this past season, but his play would lead the Jets to part ways with him this off-season.

Now, Rodgers is looking to sign with another NFL franchise, seemingly wanting to continue his NFL career. According to Jeremy Fowler, Aaron Rodgers is now down to the Pittsburgh Steelers and Minnesota Vikings.

“They are willing to be pretty patient,” Fowler said, talking about the Pittsburgh Steelers. He added, “My sense is the Steelers remain optimistic here and are willing to wait.”

While the Steelers are indeed willing to wait on the former NFL MVP and Super Bowl champ, it seems as though the Minnesota Vikings may also be in on the signal caller. This would be an insane move, as he would be mirroring the career of his mentor, Brett Favre.

Last season, Rodgers threw for 3897 passing yards, 28 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. It may be a far cry from any of his MVP quality seasons, however, it’s clear that he still believes he has some gas left in the tank to go win another ring.
