NFL star quarterback Kirk Cousins secured a luxurious $2 million home in Georgia following his move from the Minnesota Vikings to the Atlanta Falcons in March last year.
His new residence, a five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom custom-built brick and stone estate, is nestled in an affluent Atlanta suburb.

Born on August 19, 1988, in Barrington, Illinois, Kirk Cousins grew up as the second of three children to Don and Maryann Cousins. He attended Holland Christian High School in Michigan, excelling in football, baseball, and basketball. Despite breaking his ankle in his junior year, he worked to impress recruiters, finishing high school with 3,204 passing yards, 40 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions.
Initially considering Toledo or Western Michigan, Cousins accepted a scholarship from Michigan State in 2007 after Mark Dantonio’s arrival as head coach. He was also involved in the Athletes in Action sports ministry.

Kirk Cousins was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the fourth round of the 2012 NFL Draft as a backup to Robert Griffin III. He made his debut in Week 5 and had his first start in Week 15, earning Rookie of the Week honors. Over the next few seasons, Cousins had ups and downs, showing flashes of strong play but also struggling with turnovers. In 2015, he became the team’s full-time starter, led historic comeback wins, and set franchise records, including single-season passing yards. He also popularized the phrase “You like that?!” after a comeback win against the Buccaneers.
Cousins was franchise-tagged by the Redskins in 2016 and 2017 before signing a historic, fully guaranteed $84 million contract with the Vikings in 2018. He had multiple career highs, including passing yards and touchdowns, but his teams struggled with inconsistency. He earned Pro Bowl selections and playoff appearances, including a notable 2019 Wild Card win over the Saints.
Despite strong stats, Cousins faced criticism for performances in primetime games. In 2020, he signed a $66 million extension with the Vikings.
Kirk Cousins’ Mansion
Cousins purchased a five-bedroom, 5.5-bathroom custom brick and stone home in Suwanee, an upscale suburb about 30 miles north of Atlanta. The mansion, which spans 6,888 square feet, is located about 80 minutes from Mercedes-Benz Stadium, where the Falcons play their home games. Cousins, who shares two sons with his wife, Julie, closed on the home in April, just one month after signing a four-year, $180 million contract with the Falcons.
The property offers access to a private golf club featuring a clubhouse, designer golf course, and spa. It also features a sports center with a pool and tennis courts. The mansion has a two-story entryway, beamed ceilings, and hardwood flooring throughout. The primary suite includes double closets and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub and double vanities.
The home’s living spaces consist of a large family room, a loft, and an office. The kitchen features stone countertops and overlooks the family room and a dining room with a butler’s pantry. There is also an unfinished basement, which Cousins could transform into a home gym.
Outside, the property has a front porch and a back deck that overlooks a landscaped lawn and a wooded area.
