Florida Gators defensive tackle Desmond Watson hasn’t even taken an NFL snap yet, and he’s already obtained the best nickname in the sport.

Desmond Watson is listed at 464 pounds. If he’s taken in the NFL Draft next month, he’ll officially become the heaviest player in NFL history. And if someone drafts or signs Watson, we caution the Philadelphia Eagles to look out.

That’s because with his 6-foot-6 and 464-pound frame, Watson is perfectly built to stop Jalen Hurts on the Eagles’ signature “tush push” play. The draft is a month away, but Watson has already earned the epic “Tush Push Terminator” nickname, courtesy of NFL analyst Warren Sharp:

And social media is totally on board with Desmond Watson’s nickname.

“Nearly 500 pounds is wild. How would anyone stop him,” one fan asked.

“I need to make this guy a suit,” wrote another.

“under no circumstances should he be allowed to lineup next to Jordan Davis,” said a user.

“Can’t stop the tush push if the Eagles draft him,” quipped a fan.

“Jerry jones gonna see this and draft him,” said another.

“Took my narrative and ran with it💔,” wrote a fan.

The Plant City, Florida, native played four seasons of college football with the Gators. In 51 game appearances, Watson had 1.5 sacks, four tackles for a loss and one forced fumble.

Desmond Watson Would Become NFL’s Heaviest Player By A Country Margin

Former NFL offensive tackle Aaron Gibson holds the record for heaviest NFL player ever at 410 pounds. So if Watson turns pro, he’ll have smashed Gibson’s record by about 50 pounds (depending if he loses some weight before the draft).

Gibson was a standout offensive lineman out of Wisconsin. The Detroit Lions used a first-round pick on him in 1999, but Gibson only lasted five seasons in the NFL.
