The Tennessee Titans have many options since they have the top pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Tennessee has been silent on acquiring a veteran quarterback, leading to many thinking it might be taking a quarterback next month.

The Titans were awarded the No.1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft after a pitiful 2024 season ending with just three wins. Their biggest issue is quarterback play.

Before the start of free agency, it seemed the Titans were poised to trade out of the top spot. Many predicted the Giants and Titans would swap first-round picks.

Now, it seems things have changed.

ESPN’s Jordan Reid is reporting that the Titans will take Cam Ward first overall despite the feeling around the NFL Combine in February that the franchise might shop the pick.

“The feeling at the combine was that Tennessee was aggressively shopping the No. 1 pick, but that sentiment has cooled off a bit. Now signs are trending toward the Titans drafting Ward at the top of the draft, and many sources around the league are preparing for that outcome,” Reid wrote via ESPN.

Field Yates soon stated that Ward was a “strong favorite” to be the top overall pick.

The Tennessee Titans have been in limbo this offseason as they try to figure out their quarterback situation under first-time general manager Mike Borgonzi.

It is starting to become clear that the franchise will indeed select the best quarterback in the class with the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft.

That leaves Will Levis on the outside looking in.

This notion was further strengthened by Josina Anderson reporting that the Titans are currently trying to trade quarterback Will Levis.

Per NFL insider Josina Anderson, Atlanta Falcons’ Kirk Cousins and Tennessee Titans’ Will Levis have “came up in recent preliminary trade inquiries or internal discussions.”

Anderson added that “the Titans would like to transition” from Levis.
