Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson is making headlines again, this time for a dazzling $2.5 million engagement ring he gifted to his longtime girlfriend, Jilly Anais. The NFL star proposed over the weekend, celebrating the milestone with a romantic beachside engagement.

Watson worked closely with renowned jeweler Vikar Ahmed for seven months to craft the custom piece, which boasts more than 20 carats of diamonds. Dubbed ‘The Glory Treasure,’ the ring features what Ahmed calls “the purest chemical diamond in the world.”

Anais, a 29-year-old musician, model, and influencer, shared the news on social media, captioning her post, “Mrs. Watson loading…”

Watson and Anais have been together since 2019, and she has remained by his side despite the quarterback’s ongoing legal battles. Watson faced 24 civil lawsuits for allegations of sexual harassment and assault by female massage therapists, first surfacing in 2021.

Though a grand jury declined to indict him on criminal charges, the NFL still suspended him for 11 games and fined him $5 million. They have settled most of the lawsuits.

Despite the controversies, Watson secured a massive five-year, $230 million contract with the Browns in 2022, making the extravagant engagement ring well within his budget. His career, however, has been plagued by injuries. Most recently, he suffered a re-ruptured Achilles tendon in January, potentially sidelining him for the entire 2025 season.
