Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon were among the stars giving their thoughts on the week’s TV highlightsin the latest episode of Channel 4’s Celebrity Googlebox

Celebrity Gogglebox returned to Channel 4 with a brand new episode on Friday night as a series of famous faces gave their take on the past week’s TV highlights.

Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash were back in action from Pickle Cottage as they cuddled up on their cream sofa with their pets.

However, fans were immediately distracted by former EastEnders star Joe looking ‘very different.’

The duo were among the star letting the nation into their homes as they watched shows such as Top of The Pops 1992, the Nevermets and A Quiet Place. But as fans watched the celebs watching telly, they all thought that former EastEnders star Joe, 42, looked slightly different to normal.

He was joined by his wife, Stacey, in their Pickle Cottage home as they discussed jellyfish. The actor asked: “What do you think jellyfish are?”

Stacey responded: “Jellyfish”. But Joe shook his head as he said: “Nope. Jellyfish are definitely aliens. Jellyfish are aliens.”

His Loose Women star partner laughed as she quizzed: “What?” Joe explained more as he added: “They come in on, like, some space rock or something. Jellyfish are not… They’re not from our planet.”

Stacey looked exasperated as she said: “They are” but Joe just wasn’t having it. While the couple carried out the hilarious debate, fans at home questioned “what happened” to Joe’s appearance as they thought that his smile looked different.

Taking to social media, one user posted to X (formerly Twitter ) as they asked: “What’s going on with #joeswash gnashers. Got some new Turkey specials? #celebritygogglebox”.

Another added: “#celebritygogglebox Has Joe got new teeth?”. Meanwhile a third wrote: “What’s happened to Joe Swash’ teeth?! He had lovely teeth #gogglebox.”

The couple have formerly been open about Joe’s cosmetic dentistry. Earlier this year, Stacey told her Instagram fans: “He [Joe] went out and got his teeth done and came back and expected me to be normal about it.”

“He didn’t even discuss it with his wife. Just went out and did it. Now, I’m not in control of Joe’s body, he can do what he likes with his body, but how dare he do something without telling me.”

Joe, who was sat next to her, hit back as he said: “I think they look quite nice personally.” But Stacey replied: “I thought they looked amazing already.”

Later in the Gogglebox episode, the husband and wife made a candid admission as Joe as they watched a couple cosy up on TV. Joe said: “We used to do all this. We used to have pillow talk, didn’t we?”

Stacey replied: “We used to sleep in bed together, remember that?” Joe said: “No it’s like…” but Stacey interrupted as she started laughing and added: “It’s why we had three kids in four years.”

Joe shook his head as he said: “So I’ll go in Rex’s bed with the baby then shall I?” Stacey continued to giggle as she said: “That’s what happens isn’t it, babe?”
