Christine Lampard has posted a rare photograph of her two children with husband Frank Lampard as they enjoy the school summer holidays.
The couple often keep their family life private and have never shown their kids’ faces on social media but Loose Women star Christine, 45, couldn’t resist posting a snap of her children as they enjoyed a day out.
Christine and former England footballer Frank, 46, share Patricia, five, and three-year-old Freddie and Chelsea legend Frank gave a nod to his stellar football career by dressing his youngest in a Chelsea kit. Christine captioned the pic on Instagram : “Before the rain came! Anyone know how to convince a 3 year old into regular clothes?”
There were many that responded to Christine’s comment but most were in agreement with the youngster’s desire to wear a football strip. One fan commented: “Freddie has a Chelsea legend for his Daddy – He has great taste . Long may it continue.” Frank retired from playing in 2017, representing Chelsea between 2001 and 2014 before returning briefly to manage to the club in 2019.
This comes after Christine has been filling in for Lorraine on her ITV morning show and she revealed what was her worst moment while presenting live on television. It was while presenting fundraiser Children In Need. The broadcaster admitted she would rather forget the moment she suddenly felt unwell on stage.

Speaking to MyWeekly magazine, she said: “It involved hosting Children in Need many years ago and I had a really bad stomach bug. I was really, really ill and it was dreadful. It was live television and I was running on and off set to be sick. It was just the worst night of my life.”
Despite this, Christine says she revels in the buzz you get from presenting live on television. She added: “I love it. If I could tell my teenage self what she would be doing now, she would not believe it. She would be stunned that Richard Madeley says my name when he does the crossover from Good Morning Britain to Lorraine.”
Christine, who has proved a hit with fans while providing holiday cover for Lorraine, says she has to “pinch herself” when presenting the morning show. She describes the veteran broadcaster as a “complete stalwart of television”. She confesses she “never gets bored” of working on screen, opting to say she is “doing Lorraine today or Loose Women” instead of “going to work”. This Christine says is because she finds it a “real blessing” to present.
