Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon accidentally lifted the lid on the new addition to the ITV soap after posting a picture on social media. Taking to social media, Lucy is seen making a funny face for her followers while sat in her dressing room, holding an ITV mug.
However, unknowingly, Lucy’s post included the dressing table behind her which had the name of Doctor Who star Amy Cudden stuck to the black rimmed mirror.
And fans noticed it straight away and rushed to X to speculate over who her character will be.
One person wrote as they reposted Lucy’s post: “Amy cudden hmm I wonder who she will be playing #Corrie.”
Another person said: “I think she’s sharing a room with her.”

According to the thread on X, it’s believed that if the BBC star is to join the soap she will play Becky Swain in the upcoming police corruption plot.
Becky is the “supposed deceased wife” of DS Lisa Swain, played by Vicky Myers.
After a recent episode, one viewer posted: “Just realised, when ‘Fake Tia Wardley’ was talking to Costello she used Tia’s name in the past tense. What if the real Tia Wardley was killed and they used her body to fake Becky’s death, but actually Becky is alive – coming to Weatherfield imminently #Tiawardley #Swarla.”
Another person said: “I reckon Becky is alive & Tia Wardly was probably buried instead of Becky.”

Meanwhile a third commented: “I think Becky may still be alive and that’s who was watching Lisa. Though why she faked her own death remains to be seen. Will definitely put a spanner in the works on her engagement to Carla. “
Amy Cudden has appeared in many well known dramas including Mr Bates vs The Post Office and Vera.
Despite joining Coronation Street in 2015 playing Bethany Platt, Lucy quit the soap five years later.
But she returned in 2023.
Earlier this year, Lucy welcomed the arrival of her second child in January. The soap star confirmed that she was adding to her brood last summer with boyfriend Ryan Ledson.
In July this year, Lucy announced her happy news on social media as she told fans: “Our teeny angel girl is here 11/1/25 x.”
She accompanied the post with a picture of her newborn baby who was wearing a floral baby grow with “Little sister emblazoned on the front of it.
