Emmerdale Mack spoilers after brutal murder as fans convinced he’s alive

Mack Boyd’s apparent demise on Emmerdale leads to new scenes next week, after Friday’s episode sees John Sugden covering his killer tracks. Spoilers reveal that on Friday, a day on from the brutal twist, Mack’s wife Charity Dingle is concerned.

The pair appeared to split after a row over pregnant Charity’s decision to be a surrogate for her granddaughter Sarah Sugden. What Charity has yet to admit though is that she kissed her ex Vanessa Woodfield, before sleeping with Ross Barton a few weeks back.

Charity is now in turmoil as she has no idea if the baby she is carrying is her own, with Ross being the dad, or if it’s Sarah’s after an embryo transfer. So when she and Mack came to blows this week it all boiled over and she booted him out.

Things were left rather awkwardly, only for Mack to rumble killer John and find himself his next victim. A devastating and violent showdown in the woods concluded with John shooting Mack with a bow and arrow, before “ending his suffering” with a giant rock.

With fans divided over whether Mack is really dead or not, we saw blood and a possible body in the back of John’s van. John will now go to desperate lengths to cover his tracks, but to also cover up Mack’s abrupt disappearing act.

As for Charity, Friday sees her in turmoil over how she and Mack left things. With her calling him on Thursday, Mack answered while running for his life in the woods and so he could not talk – and John now has his phone.

With no contact, Charity begins to panic while there’s an update at the end of the episode. As for next week, spoilers have teased the fallout of the big week, with Charity heartbroken.

She begins to fall apart as there is still no sign of Mack. He is mentioned in the spoilers, but it’s clear he is now AWOL amid it seeming he has been killed off. Reports emerged weeks ago by The Sun that Mack was going to die, with actor Lawrence Robb said to be leaving the show after five years.

Next week, Ross overhears the news that Mackenzie has ended things with Charity – no doubt John’s doing. He confronts Charity to see if it’s because Mack found out about them but she denies this and kicks him out.

Soon Charity is breaking down, as she confides in Vanessa about what’s been going on. She admits she doesn’t know if the baby is Sarah’s, but allows Vanessa to think she slept with Mack, not Ross.

Charity does her best to carry on as normal, until Ross shows up demanding a DNA test. As the week goes on, a distraught Charity crumbles as she fears she has lost her husband for good. But when Aaron Dingle makes a discovery about husband John, will he rumble Mack’s apparent demise?
