Katie Price has been showing off a worryingly slender appearance over recent months and now, the mum of five has attributed her weight loss to a medical issue amid fears her cancer may have returned. Katie, 47, had been diagnosed with a rare form of soft tissue cancer which was on her finger, called leiomyosarcoma.
But after having it removed while being closely monitored by medical professionals over a period of six years, Katie was given the all clear.
However, over recent weeks, the TV personality has now expressed fears her cancer may have returned.
Her admission comes just before she was seen out and about for the first time since her worrying admission.
Wearing a fitted grey vest top, teamed with a matching pair of grey jogging bottoms, the reality TV star completed her look with a black jumper wrapped around her waist as she headed off for the first night of her tour with Kerry Katona. The pair took to the stage in Fleetwood, Lancashire, where she opened up about the breakdown of her marriage to Peter Andre.

With her hair tied up in a bun, Katie also revealed bruising to her eye and ear, which are the results of her most recent facelift.
Speaking to her sister Sophie on her podcast The Katie Price Show, the former glamour model said: “Another thing that’s really weird, you know when I had cancer years ago.”‘
She added: ” For some who didn’t know, when I was pregnant with Harvey I got cancer, called leiomyosarcoma.”
Katie continued: “If you look at my finger, there is like a hole there and a scar there, I had it cut out twice. Can you see that dent? It never hurt. But a lump started coming up and I thought I had been riding and done something to my finger. “
The TV star went on to say: “But anyway cut the long story short it was leiomyosarcoma so I had to have MRI scans and all of that for six years until I was clear.”

Due ton the fact that the same finger was now hurting again, he placed Katie in a state of concern.
She added: “The same finger here, up here, this is about three weeks ago, I thought, have I knocked it? Because it hurts when I push it but there’s no lump. And it (the pain) still hasn’t gone. So I’m going to get that X-rayed and looked at so I hope it’s not that again.”
Fearing that her results could reveal something more serious, she went on to say: “This better not be my bad news, and get bad results, because all this is happening, and then normally in my life something good happens and then something bad happens. Let’s hope it’s nothing bad.”
Doctors have also been checking her blood and after a series of tests, it has shown that she has a low blood platelet, which could explain her weight loss.
In a candid chat with her sister, she said: “I’ve had my bloods done, and I’ve got really really low platelets and I thought that was (low) iron, and it’s not. And that could be a reason why maybe I’ve got thinner. I’m tired, no energy.”
Katie, who was also known to the public as Jordan during her days as a glamour model added: “They [the doctors] said it can affect that and I think you might have to have a blood transfusion to get them [the platelets] back up again. So I’ve got to go back and have my bloods done again.”
