aise Wilson before bringing her to the stage. “She joined up back with us tonight in Kansas City after a little bit of hiatus,” he began. “She is a true badass and we’ve all believed in her from day one and it’s so nice to see the way that she has just blown up,” he added. “I couldn’t be happier for someone. Ya’ll make some noise for Lainey Wilson.”
Wilson took the stage sporting bell bottoms in Kansas City Chiefs colors which brought cheers from the crowd. He told the crowd, “Me and Lainey, we don’t have a song together as of now, so we’re gonna try something that we ain’t never tried before. This is my most recent release. Jessie Jo Dillon co-penned “Lies, Lies, Lies” with Josh Miller, Daniel Ross, and Chris Tompkins. Morgan Wallen originally released it as part of the seven-track Abbey Road Sessions EP he recorded last year after a show in London and released in March. More recently, he released a new studio version of the song on July 5.
“Lies, Lies, Lies” currently sits at No. 24 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart. After just four weeks on the survey, the new single has plenty of time to climb to the top. The track is doing better on the publication’s Country Streaming Songs chart where it currently sits at No. 3.
