Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash are reportedly set to star in a new Keeping Up With the Kardasians-style TV show, giving an insight into their family life at Pickle Cottage.

Stacey Solomon is “hoping to be the next Richard and Judy” as she prepares to appear in a new reality TV show with husband Joe Swash.

An insider says the 34-year-old was originally hesitant to appear in the show, fearing it would encroach on their lives. But fans are eagerly awaiting the chance to learn more about the couple’s lives at Pickle Cottage.

Stacey’s sons Zachary, 16, and Leighton, 13, as well as Rex, five, Rose, two and one-year-old Belle, who she shares with Joe, are also set to appear in the new show. Insiders believe Stacey hopes it could lead to more opportunities to present with her husband.

Speaking to Closer, one said: “Stacey and Joe are such homebodies and love nothing more than spending time with their children. The series is set to be a huge hit, given the chaos that comes with a big family.

“They will also not hold back when it comes to showing the highs and lows of family life. Fans can expect to see an unfiltered version of a busy household.”

The insider added: “Stacey’s dream would be for them to become ‘the next Richard and Judy’ and bag more shows as a couple. She always says Joe is more talented than her and it’s him who gives her the confidence to present, so she’d love to have him by her side for future work opportunities.”

Richard Madeley and Judy Finnigan have been one of TV’s power couples over the last several decades since hosting This Morning in the 80s, before famously going on to host their own show.

Loose Women panellist Stacey has been a huge hit with TV audiences, with her Rescue Renovation show having been snapped up by Rees Witherspoon’s Hollywood production firm. Joe meanwhile has seen success as a reality TV star, winning I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! in 2008 and appearing on Dancing on Ice in 2020.

The insider says Stacey had however been hesitant about reality TV but was won over by their recent appearance together on Celebrity Gogglebox. They claim Stacey hopes the move will launch the pair as a “power couple” giving Joe, 42, a “stepping stone to crack the US”.

Stacey and Joe’s reality TV show is set to offer a fly-on-the-wall perspective of their life at their Essex cottage, in a similar manner to At Home with the Fury’s and Keeping Up With the Kardashians, reports suggest. It was said to be Stacey’s decision to finally accept a reality TV deal.
