Vanessa Feltz breaks silence on ex Ben Ofoedu’s wedding as she fumes ‘never want to see him again’

Vanessa Feltz has shared her true feelings on ex Ben Ofoedu after his recent marriage. Ben and Vanessa were together for years but they split and soon, Ben moved on and married a woman who he has reportedly dubbed ‘Vanessa 2.0’.

The pair got engaged back in 2006 and had planned to marry the next year, but it never happened and in 2023, they announced that they had split. At the time, she admitted it was hard ending their romance.

She confessed in a candid admission after their split: “I can’t sleep at all, so reading thousands and thousands of messages from lovely people on Instagram is something to do in the night. When you have to end a relationship it’s very hard. I’ve had what feels like millions of messages from so, so many people going through it.

“I wouldn’t want to minimise in any way what it’s like when you’re heartbroken. It’s horrible.”

Since their split, friends have reportedly grown concerned for Ben – as they urged him to stop talking about his ex. One source told the Express: “Even though he is newly married the assaults on Vanessa – who was in a relationship with him for 16 years – keep on coming. How must his new wife – whom he calls ‘Vanessa 2.0’ – be feeling when he constantly harps on about his ex. He even gave interviews about her at their wedding – such odd behaviour.”

Now, Vanessa has spoken out over her thoughts about her ex – insisting she “never wants to see him again” as she said that “what they do is of no interest to me”.

Speaking to Best magazine, she said: “An ex is an ex. That person is no longer in my life, and what they do is of no interest to me whatsoever. What’s it got to do with me?

“I really do not want to silt up and sully my life by thinking of someone I no longer want to spend my life with. I didn’t get rid of them to keep tabs on what they’re doing. Let them get on with it.”

She added: “I gave [the relationship] my whole heart and my whole soul, but I had no alternative but to end it. I prefer not to register anything in a non-existent relationship with someone I never want to see again.”

Singer Ben even made comments about his ex at his wedding. When Vanessa ended their relationship, he told a reporter: “She was perfect. I have ruined my life with her. I’d do anything to be back with her.”
