Brooklyn Beckham is unlikely to wish his brother Romeo a happy 23rd birthday, as the siblings remain embroiled in a bitter family feud following Sir David’s 50th celebrations

Brooklyn serves a fresh blow as Romeo celebrates his birthday

Today marks Romeo Beckham’s birthday, but don’t expect a heartfelt tribute from his older brother Brooklyn. The brothers have been embroiled in a family feud since Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz, were conspicuously absent from their father Sir David’s 50th birthday bash earlier this year.

Since then, there’s been an undeniable rift between the aspiring chef and his famous parents, while Romeo, who’s celebrating his 23rd birthday, and Cruz, 20, have taken jabs at him on social media.

Whether it’s apparently blocking him and Nicola, 30, on Instagram, mocking Brooklyn’s varied career, or posting cryptic messages about ‘truth telling’, it’s evident that their once tight-knit relationship is now tense.

Birthday tributes have been flooding in for Romeo but none from Brooklyn

As a result, Brooklyn, 26, has no intention of wishing his younger sibling a happy birthday. A source told Metro about their current situation: “Brooklyn has been on the receiving end of public trolling from both of his brothers, and just a few months ago, they even blocked him and Nicola. So, it’s unrealistic to expect him to extend an olive branch.”

However, Romeo probably won’t feel left out, as he’s been flooded with birthday wishes from other loved ones, which he’s shared on his Instagram Story.

These included a touching message from Sir David’s mother, Sandra, who wrote: “Happy birthday to my special grandson @romeobeckham so proud of you, love you lots xxx”.

Proud mum Victoria also posted a series of baby photos, expressing her disbelief that he’s now 23. “We love you so much Romeo and hope all your dreams come true on your birthday”, wrote the fashion mogul.

Meanwhile, proud father Sir David shared a heartwarming throwback snap, captioning it: “Happy 23rd Birthday to my little boy … you are kind , humble , polite , hard working and the most special person to everyone we love you so much x have the most special day HAPPY BIRTHDAY big boy @romeobeckham”.

Brooklyn and Nicola’s vow renewal was the latest snub in the family feud

Not one to be left out, Cruz joined in the fun by posting a childhood photo of Romeo with a Justin Bieber phone case, a seemingly prophetic choice given how the model now sports a similar look to JB with his buzz cut and tattoos, as fans have noted. “Love u man”, Cruz penned.

Romeo’s birthday follows another jibe from Brooklyn towards his family. Last month, the rift escalated as Brooklyn and Nicola renewed their wedding vows in the US – without inviting any members of the Beckham clan along.

Brooklyn and Nicola shared the gorgeous snaps from the event, which was reportedly attended by 200 guests. However, the Beckham family were nowhere to be seen.

“Victoria’s heart is breaking behind closed doors,” our source recently said. “Brooklyn is her firstborn and she’s worried she’s never going to get him back. Seeing him and Nicola renew their vows without her and David was tough.”

“They have missed out on some big family moments already and Victoria is afraid that the longer this goes on, the less chance there is of it being resolved.”
