As Brooklyn and Nicola enjoyed a “family dinner” for two over in America, David and Victoria Beckham lived it up in the Italian sunshine with their three other children amid the heartache of recent months.

Making the most of the sweltering heat of the Amalfi Coast, David, 50, showed off his toned body by going shirtless on a yacht as proud wife Victoria, 51, snapped some pictures and indulged in a bit of PDA with her man.

While Brooklyn and Nicola were noticeable absent, Posh and Becks’ other children Romeo, Cruz and Harper were on board for the European break – with Cruz’s girlfriend Jackie Apostel joining in on the holiday.

Over in the US, Nicola took to her Instagram Stories to give fans an update on how her family dynamics are playing out. As Brooklyn posed on a lavish looking patio alongside a grill with several burgers ready to cook, the Bates Motel actress captioned the shot: “Family dinner.”

The contrasting family summers come as it’s alleged Victoria has told David that she thinks daughter-in-law Nicola is “turning into a monster” amid the ongoing feud between the families.

A source revealed it is ‘undoubtedly the worst time’ in Victoria’s life as she’s ‘nursing a broken heart’. The insider said: “She’s keeping up appearances, but behind closed doors her heart is in tatters. That renewal of vows seemed like a staged kick in the teeth for the Beckhams and a marked ownership lead by Nicola and her family.”

They continued to say Nicola’s alleged ‘assault’ on her ‘shook her to the core’. “This is personal. She’s told David that she feels like Nicola is turning into a monster,” the insider continued to Closer. The Mirror have previously reached out to Victoria’s reps for comment.

Brooklyn and Nicola have been posting stunning photographs from the occasion, which reportedly welcomed 200 attendees. Yet the Beckham household was conspicuously absent.

David appeared to extend a peace offering to Brooklyn when he like one of his son’s social media posts featuring a culinary demonstration using his chilli sauce brand, Cloud 23.

This follows Brooklyn overlooking several major family occasions. In April, he neglected to publicly recognise his mother’s 51st birthday and subsequently ignored David’s landmark 50th birthday in May.

David marked the milestone with private gatherings in the Cotswolds, a brief jaunt to Paris and an extravagant birthday bash featuring famous faces in Notting Hill. Yet Brooklyn and Nicola were absent from all celebrations.

He remained quiet on Father’s Day in June, apparently disregarding his parents’ 26th wedding anniversary, and also neglected to recognise David’s longed for recent knighthood across social platforms.
