Emily Andre has opened up about her struggles with parenting as she admits she ‘doesn’t always get it right’ while parenting her three young kids with husband Peter

Emily Andre opened up about her struggles with parenting, as she recently celebrated her ten year anniversary with husband Peter Andre.

The couple tied the knot in 2015, and share three children together, Amelia, 11, Theo, 8 and Arabella, one. Emily is also step mother to Peter’s oldest kids who he shares with Katie Price, Princess, 18, and Junior, 20.

The 36-year-old doctor joined Sian Welby and Craig Doyle on the This Morning sofa to speak about her new children’s book, as the conversation quickly moved onto Peter and the kids. It comes after Katie Price is left unable to complete basic functions after latest facial surgeries.

As well as her new venture, Emily still has her job in the NHS, as presenter Sian asked her: “How do you find the time with everything? You’ve got three young children, almost like a step parent as well and you’ve got your job with the NHS, you’re so busy.”

Emily admitted she was just like all other parents, and doesn’t ‘always get it right,’ as she admitted: “I think it’s the same like all parents. I feel like I’m juggling all the time.

“I feel like I don’t always get it right a lot of the time. I try to be the best I can be at home, I try to be the best I can be in whatever work I’m doing.”

Concluding, she added: “But you never quite get it right. You just do your best don’t you. I feel like I’m constantly running around.”

Emily’s expressed how she couldn’t believe she’d been married to the Mysterious Girl singer for ten years.

It comes after Peter made a gushing tribute to his wife amid his explosive fall out with ex-wife Katie Price. It came after Pete lashed out at his troubled ex – accusing her of peddling lies about their family dynamic for years.

“For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today,” he started the lengthy statement.

It came after Katie had hinted she had been blocked from taking part in a recent documentary about daughter Princess. The star then went on to suggest Peter join her on her podcast so they could clear the air over their relationship as co-parents.

Katie then issued a lengthy statement in response, which said, in part: “At times I was not the mother I should have been while I struggled with mental illness. I have been at times a poor friend, an awful sibling, and an untrustworthy partner. I’ve self-medicated, been unfaithful, damaged myself and those that I love.

However, it looked like Pete wanted to put all the drama with his ex wife behind him this weekend, as he celebrated Emily’s 36th birthday.

Sharing a collection of images of her on his Instagram feed, he gushed: “Happy Birthday, Emily. We love you beyond words.”
