The Gogglebox stars made a joke as Izzi marks one year with her new partner

Gogglebox favourite Izzi Warner has issued her co-star sister a warning following a romantic gesture.

Channel 4 critics, Izzi and Ellie, have been a fixture on our screens with the likes of Pete Sandiford and Jenny Newman since 2015, and they quickly won over viewers’ hearts.

Throughout the years, Ellie and Izzi – who are based in Leeds – have left audiences in hysterics with their witty remarks and amusing reactions to television highlights.

Beyond the small screen however, Izzi has found love again with a fresh partner, after parting ways with her former long-term beau Grant.

Izzi stunned followers last year when she disclosed that she and Grant had ended their decade-long romance. The former couple are parents to two youngsters together, a son called Bobby and a daughter named Bessie Rose.

In recent months, Izzi has confirmed her blossoming relationship with new beau Toby Joyce and begun posting snaps of the duo, including getaway pictures to her social media. And now, she’s offered supporters another glimpse into her fresh romance on-screen.

During Friday’s episode of Goggle (October 17), Ellie inspected a romantic card given to Izzi from Toby as they marked one year together.

Ellie couldn’t help but notice the romantic gesture and asked her sister: “What the hell is this?”, as Izzi responded: “Oh, so you found it then.”

Ellie inquired: “He is such a wet wipe, what has he done?”. Reading from the romantic card, she added: “I absolutely adore and love you, Tobes, kiss kiss kiss.”

Ellie pretended to retch as she looked in the direction of Izzi, who let out a giggle. Izzi added: “Look, don’t get jealous because Nat doesn’t send you nice, meaningful cards”.

“I want to take a picture of this and send it to Nat”, Ellie added as she stared at the front of the card.

Ellie the joked: “I honestly think that you and Toby, how long you’ve been together, a year.

“I think you two have more pictures together than me and Nat have from throughout our entire relationship”, as the sisters laughed.
