Gogglebox fans said Izzi Warner looked “stunning” as she shared an unedited snap of her day at the races.

The reality TV star often shares glam shots on social media but gave her fans a peek at the real story as she uploaded an image showing her in a plastic poncho and with her long hair wild from the weather.

Izzi, who has been an armchair critic on the Channel 4 show for a decade, shared two images on Instagram. One showed her looking as stylish as ever in a green patterned dress and with her hair in tidy curls, but in the other photo she had slipped into a transparent plastic poncho to keep out the rain and her hair was blowing around her face in the wind.

“Races Insta vs reality,” she captioned the hilarious post, along with a laughing emoji.

Fans were impressed with her honesty, dropping heart and fire emojis and telling Izzi, 31, that she looked “gorgeous” in both of the snaps anyway.

“Looking absolutely sensational, even in a plastic poncho,” one person wrote in the comments section.

“So classy… even when shrouded in plastic,” said another of Izzi’s fans, as someone else remarked: “Looking fab.”

Several of Izzi’s followers on the platform said the TV star looked “stunning”, and another gushed: “You look amazing Izzy, hope you had a great time x.”

“You go girl!” exclaimed another fan, as somebody else posted: “Looking fabulous.”

Another said: “Always the same, all dressed up, bloody English weather. Looked stunning either way.”

One fan who apparently met Izzi at the event said: “I was super impressed how your curls lasted throughout that rain! Lovely to meet you x.”

The star is known to like horses and has previously shared several photos of herself at the track. Last year she dazzled fans with an image of her on a balcony at York Races as she struck a pose in an orange dress. “Trying to pick a winner,” she said.

Izzi joined Gogglebox in 2015 in series six, and is seen on the sofa commenting on the latest small screen offerings with her sister Ellie. The pair have become hugely popular with fans of the show.
