Following the huge success of the ITV2 reality show The Princess Diaries which he features on, Junior Andre successfully stepped out of the shadows of his famous parents, Peter Andre and Katie Price. And following on from how well the reality TV show was received by the nation, it looks as though the eldest child of the once super couple, is set to continue in the world of reality TV – but this time on his own.

According to reports, the 20 year old child star is in talks to take part in the celebrity version of Race Across The World

Speaking to The Sun, a source said: “Junior was approached after BBC bosses watched Princess’s show – he came across really well and they know his fans would tune into the show if he was on it!”

According to the publication, Junior is considering the life changing offer by TV bosses and is now thinking about who to race alongside.

Race Across The World takes a number of celebrities who are paired up as they travel across one country to another without the aid of planes, while nursing a strict budget.

The stars are also without their mobile phones and access to their bank accounts. In previous shows the contestants travel from London to Singapore and Japan to Indonesia.

According to reports, Junior is not considering travelling with either of his parents. This comes after his younger sibling made waves within the TV world with her series, as it took viewers on her journey to launch her make-up line.

Speaking of the fact that her show has been commissioned for two more series, she shared with fans: “I’m here to announce that I have not only one, but two more series of The Princess Diaries coming out in 2026. I honestly can’t wait, I’m so excited.”

She added: “Loads of people have been asking me but I’ve not been able to tell you but now you finally know. See you in 2026.”

And her dad Peter Andre was one of the first people to take to the social media platform to congratulate her. The Mysterious Girl singer wrote: “So proud of you. Keep being you. We love you.”

Since the announcement of Princess’ TV show, it was seeped in controversy as her mother Katie Price was left upset that she had been pushed to one side and not allowed to take part in the filming.

This was due to the fact that Princess was being managed by Peter’s team, who she has famously fallen out with.

In July, Katie revealed that she had not been invited to her daughter’s 18th birthday as it was being filmed for the TV show.

At the time Katie said: “It’s pathetic. I’m her mother. It’s so sad. Everyone knows she’s doing this documentary, and I’m not in it.”

The Can Group, who look after Peter and used to manage Katie when she was with the singer, told the Mirror in response to Katie’s claims: “As a company, our duty of care to our clients is paramount. We would never advise a client on their personal life unless asked and we have never stopped anyone seeing their families.”
