An insider recently claimed Katie Price ‘must be so envious’ of doctor Emily Andre having ‘such a close relationship’ with her teenage daughter Princess

Katie Price has been in the middle of a feud with her ex-husbands Peter Andre and Alex Reid, with the star recently asking Peter to sit down with her to smooth things out. Katie and Peter haven’t spoken since their divorce following the breakdown of their marriage in 2009.

Hours after Katie asked for peace talks, Peter angrily shared his side of the story: “For 16 years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.

“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018.”

Emily and Princess have a close relationship

He added: “In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.”

Not long after, Alex claimed he was “spearheading a campaign to expose the truth” as he leaked footage of Katie waving a wad of cash while bankrupt.

One part of the clip saw Katie brand Peter’s second wife, Doctor Emily, and their two children “irrelevant”. Katie and Emily had a strained relationship over the years, with the former glamour model previously branding Emily a ‘disgusting person’.

In 2022, she shared a NHS magazine cover featuring Emily and said in a quickly deleted post: “My mouth has been shut for so long but I’ve had enough of people selling stories on me and particularly this so called woman @dr_emily_official.

“Always said I don’t want to be famous yet doesn’t do too bad to stay away from media and TV and now trying to make a career out of it. So cringe she has used my children to make money in photo shoots yet covers her own children’s faces up!”.

Katie, who was writing one year on from her drug-drive crash, then accused the doctor of “being jealous” of the relationship she has with her eldest daughter. “She claims to be a doctor who clearly doesn’t have a clue about mental health.

“Oh and stopped my daughter from visiting me at The Priory when she wanted to see her mum. She is so jealous of my relationship I have with Princess and puts me down. Emily you are not and never will be my kids’ parent so mind your own business, your so two faced and definitely not the person you portray to the public. I think your a disgusting person so stop trying to interfere in my life.”

Meanwhile, Katie recently claimed she wasn’t allowed to be part of Princess’s new docuseries, while Emily is seen in multiple scenes giving advice to the teen. Katie also said she was not invited to Princess’ 18th birthday – which was filmed for her new reality show.

And now, an insider claimed Katie “must be so envious” of the doctor having “such a close relationship” with Princess.

“Emily has always kept a dignified silence, and that is never going to change,” they added to MailOnline. “Her main priority is Pete and the children. She will always put them first. It’s awful what has happened over the last week or so. It should have been a time that the entire family celebrated Princess; the whole situation is devastating.”

The Mirror have reached out to Emily and Katie’s reps for comment.

In the video shared by Alex, Katie asked her daughter whether Pete frequently asks about her two bankruptcies, despite her having huge amounts of cash on her. Katie is sitting in front of a Christmas tree with Princess in the clip, which is believed to have been filmed in late 2020. Peter was even said to be ‘shocked and disgusted’ by the comments.

A source recently hit out, saying that Katie had hit a “new low” by targeting Emily and the children. Speaking to The Sun, they said: “Of course, the focus has been on the fact Katie is counting cash while claiming to be bankrupt, but Pete has been left horrified by what she said about his family in front of Princess.

“She would only have been about 13 then, and her mum was talking like that about her own brother and sisters. It’s disgusting. Emily is stunned that anyone could speak about children like that. It’s a new low.”
