Model Katie Price has been seen for the first time after undergoing more cosmetic surgery in Turkey, amid accusations she’s intent on stealing the spotlight away from daughter Princess’ new TV show, The Princess Diaries.

The model – who is a mum-of-five – was ‘banned’ from appearing on The Princess Diaries. And she stated ahead of the first episode that she wouldn’t be watching as she didn’t want to see the Andre gang “playing happy families”.

Instead, she headed off to Turkey for a facelift, alongside boyfriend JJ Slater. And she was pictured in the reception of her hotel, her face covered in bandages, as Princess’ TV show aired…

Katie Price undergoes more surgery

Ignoring the growing ‘divide’ between herself and her eldest daughter, Katie was seen in the lobby of her hotel in Istanbul, in pictures published earlier today.

She was pictured with her ears covered in bandages and plasters covering the sides of her eyes. It’s thought she underwent a facelift, cat-eye surgery and a procedure on her nose. A clear nose plug was seen on her septum, as well as tape around her nose.

Originally planned to be ‘his and hers’ surgeries with boyfriend JJ Slater, Katie ended up going under the knife alone when JJ suffered complications related to his diabetes, the paper reports.

‘Trying to steal the limelight’

Speaking to the Mail, a source claimed that Katie’s behaviour over the past couple of weeks has been designed to detract from Princess Andre‘s ITV2 series.

As well as the surgery pictures, Katie has dedicated a podcast episode to Princess’ TV show. In it, she spoke about being ‘banned’ from appearing. She also revealed she’s been left “very, very upset” by how Princess’ management have behaved.

Now, a source has claimed: “On the face of it, Katie seems to be is doing everything she can to take the attention away from her daughter now. But Katie has had no part in her daughter’s career – and never will.

Katie has made this all about her.

“This should be a really exciting time for Princess. But over the last couple of months, her mum has been doing everything she can to take the limelight away from her. Princess was booked to make her catwalk debut at the opening of the Ibiza Fashion Festival back in June. And what did Katie do? She flew out to Ibiza and made sure everyone knew she was there with daily stories. It’s embarrassing.

“What mother wouldn’t want to let their child have their time in the spotlight? She loves her mum but her behaviour is showing her that she doesn’t have her best interests at heart. Katie craves fame and attention and will use anything she can to make headlines – even if it’s at the detriment of her young daughter. It’s sad. Katie has made this all about her.”
