Katie Price received a loving message from her 18-year-old daughter Princess Andre amid rumours there has been recent tension between the pair following her ITV series The Princess Diaries

Katie Price was clearly moved by a sweet message daughter Princess sent her. It comes after previous rumours of a rift between the pair following the teenager’s debut solo television project.

Despite playing down any tension, Katie was far from impressed by the decision to cut her out of fly-on-the-wall documentary series, The Princess Diaries. The mum-of-five made her feelings known at the time, and it led to rumours of a potential rift.

But now, Katie, 47. has once again poured cold water on the idea as she shared the touching quote her eldest daughter Princess, 18, sent her. The former glamour model uploaded the quote onto a sunset cloud background on her Instagram Stories.

It read: “I hope my mom never goes to bed thinking she failed as a mother, because I could write her a whole book about how amazing she’s been. I love you, mom.”

Katie then tagged Princess in the post. She said: “Thankyou gorgeous daughter @princess_andre.”

As reports state there could still be friction due to Princess’ support of her dad, Peter Andre, as the teen celebrated turning 18 earlier this year, he mum treated her to her first Pornstar Martini.

In August, the mother-and-daughter duo sipped on the cocktails during an outing to Selfridges. And Katie was quick to share the occasion with her social media followers.

The bonding session came after Katie was said to have felt left out in the cold following a ‘ban’ from her daughter’s 18th party. Instead, the pair shared a sweet trip out in London.

Speaking on an edition of her podcast at the time, Katie opened up about the day out together. As well as splashing the cash on the shopping trip, she treated her daughter to a legal alcoholic drink.

“We had a good time,” Katie said. “I said ‘right, now you’re 18 I’ll order you a Pornstar Martini.’

“We went to the restaurant in Selfridges by the shoes, I think it’s a French restaurant or maybe Italian. We ordered the same thing, as whatever I order, she orders.

“And we had the Pornstar Martini and I said ‘yes you’re 18, you can order a Pornstar Martini now.’ On the side she had a coke and I had a water.”

Katie couldn’t hide her pride during the chat with sister Sophie. “It’s the fact I could now legally go ‘there you go Princess,’” she said.

Katie also recently showed off her pride in eldest son Harvey. The 23-year-old proudly played a new tune as he sang along.

When Katie asked what her son’s grandma would think of his latest talent, he happily said how pleased she would be. Harvey also showed off his green nail varnish for his love of frogs.
