Katie Price has been at war with ex-husbands Alex Reid and Peter Andre in recent days, and it’s said her current boyfriend is ‘worried about their future’

Katie Price’s current boyfriend JJ Slater is reportedly ‘terrified’ by her ex-husbands Peter Andre and Alex Reid’s feud with the former glamour model. Big Brother star Alex released footage of his ex-wife waving a wad of cash while bankrupt on social media earlier this week.

Alex, 50, who parted ways from Katie, 47, in 2011 after tying the knot the previous year, said that “the truth will now be heard” in a video statement. The video also featured Katie asking her daughter Princess if her dad, Peter, asked the teen about her finances a lot.

Princess was also heard asking about whether she would contribute towards her school fees. Before raising her middle finger, Katie replied: “Your dad can sit on that.” She went on: “Does he go on about it a lot? Well it’s tough because I’m in bankruptcy to next May now.”

After the video was released, a ‘disgusted’ Peter weighed in on the situation. One part of the clip saw Katie brand Peter’s second wife, Doctor Emily, and their two children “irrelevant”.

A source told the Mirror: “He’s so shocked that she would do this in front of their young child and saying his young children are irrelevant. It’s not about the money. How could a mother do that about young children?”

While Katie grapples with Alex and Peter’s wrath, her new boyfriend JJ – known for his appearance on Married At First Sight UK – is said to be ‘terrified’ by the situation.

A supposed friend of JJ’s claimed to The Sun: “JJ always knew it wouldn’t be a quiet life with Katie when they started dating, but the recent attacks from her exes has rocked the boat. It’s made him worry about their own future and it’s caused a lot of tension.”

The Mirror have reached out to JJ’s reps for comment. Friends are reportedly warning JJ to break up with the star ‘before it’s too late’.

It’s claimed that Katie was “blindsided” by the release of the recent footage, but won’t be “coming out all guns blazing” against Alex. It’s alleged that the former glamour model is instead “biding her time” and has taken legal advice.

The footage was shared this week by Alex. Along with the leaked footage, he said in a statement: “Over the years you have seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter, Keiran and others. Today I want to be clear. I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn’t about gossip but about evidence. It’s not about rumour, it’s about reality. After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all.”

Following the release of the video, Katie released a statement of her own, explaining that the cash in the video didn’t belong to her. A representative for Katie said: “This is a video that was shared with Katie’s Trustee in Bankruptcy several months ago and Katie has fully complied with the Trustee’s investigations into the same.”
