Loose Women viewers are set to see a huge change to the ITV schedule this week as the programme is being taken off air.
On Tuesday’s episode of Loose Women, the ITV panel were discussing the latest news when a surprising announcement was made.
Viewers were informed that there would be no more episodes of Loose Women for the rest of the week after Tuesday’s show.
During the recent episode of the popular ITV programme, which saw Denise Welch apologise on air, the hosts were discussing current affairs before introducing their guest, Jojo Siwa, to the panel.
However, before this, comedian Lee Peart entered the studio to announce the latest competition to the live audience and viewers at home.
Receiving a hearty round of applause, he interjected: “I’m sorry to interrupt but I’ve got a three part prize to give away! Now, fingers crossed it may put a smile on Janet’s face!”
Loose Women cancelled for rest of the week in major ITV schedule shake-up
After revealing what viewers could potentially win, Lee added: “Lines close on Friday and I will saw, this is actually the last Loose Women of the week, so get your entry in if you want to do that!”
According to the ITV schedule, a rerun of James Martin’s Great British Adventure will take over Loose Women’s usual slot once This Morning concludes at 12:30.
Following the ITV news, live racing from York will be broadcast from 1:30pm until 4:30pm. The reason for Loose Women not airing before the races has not been disclosed, but this comes ahead of significant changes being implemented in 2026.

From next year, the ITV programme will be reduced to airing for just 30 weeks out of 52, leading to a hiatus in its broadcast schedule.
The changes to Loose Women don’t stop there; they’re also set to lose their live studio audience, which means that warm-up comedian Lee Peat, who appeared on air this week, is facing the chop.
Nadia Sawalha, one of the show’s stars, expressed her dismay over the decision on social media, saying: “I am totally devastated by this fact, I can’t get over it at all.”

She added, “Not only because the audience is so important for the show, but also my dear friend Lee who I work with every day.”
It’s not just Loose Women undergoing alterations; from next year, Lorraine will be shortened from an hour to 30 minutes and will follow the same 30-week schedule.
When Lorraine isn’t on the air, Good Morning Britain will extend its broadcast until 10am.
