Loose Women viewers all issued the same complaint after Stormy Daniels’ interview on Friday. The former adult film actress, 45, infamously entered Donald Trump’s hotel suite in a move that eventually led to her £102,000 hush money deal more than 20 years ago.

The pair were introduced at a celebrity golf tournament, where Stormy alleges they would later have sex. Years later, she provided evidence that led to the former president’s conviction – becoming the first US leader ever found guilty of a crime but as Stormy, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, joined Kaye Adams, Jane Moore, Frankie Bridge and Nadia Sawalha remotely for Friday’s edition of the lunchtime chat show, fans were left unimpressed.

Stormy seemed focussed on promoting her new career as a writer and director, which left viewers furious that she had not really had much to say about Trump, nor his state visit, calling it all a ‘pointless’ exercise.

One viewer wrote on X: “Well that was all a bit pointless today…#loosewomen.” Another agreed as they said: “Well that was boring!” A third raged: “She’s a bit rambling…” Another fumed: “That’s how low #loosewomen have gone having @StormyDaniels on after Trumps trip here. Anything to make money Stormy.”

Stormy did briefly speak about the US President when she was asked for her reaction when he was re-elected. She said: “It was shocking [when he was re-elected] and I just couldn’t believe it. It would mean that the first president to be a felon is now sitting in office, and that’s not a good look!”

When former I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! star Jane asked Stormy what Trump was like in real life, the former porn star admitted that things have changed so much in the time since she knew him properly.

“He will change a lot. It’s been over 20 years since I spent time with him, the person that I spoke to on the regular in 2006, is not the person I see on television now. I wish I knew [what he was like].”

Despite her new ventures, which include thriller Decoy, Stormy insisted that she will always be associated with the US President. She said: “I’m proud of the work I did, I’m not ashamed of it. But it will always be Stormy Daniels from the Trump story, I’ll never get out of that. It’s like you ladies, for the rest of your life, they say from Loose Women…what about being a mom, being a woman? If you left your show today and went on to win an award for a movie, no one is every gonna talk about that!”

Stormy was meant to make an appearance on Loose Women in 2018, but it was all pulled at the minute due to “legal complications.” After Jane managed to get an interview in her dressing room, Stormy later came up on the panel to speak. At the time, Kaye explained: “None of us knew what to expect,” Kaye explained. “Because the whole story of this hardball porn star and she had a business doing that so what was she going to be like? She was very very frank, wasn’t she?”

“Very frank,” Nadia agreed. “And because we had to sit there with her for half an hour didn’t we [making small talk], because there was a battle going on with the lawyers and phone calls from the states, she was just telling us everything! About Trump and everything!”
