Singer Louise Redknapp has opened up about her life as a mum, and her pride as her youngest son Beau’s recieved his GCSE results…

Louise Redknapp was a ‘super proud’ mum as she boasted about her son Beau’s GCSE results. Hundreds of thousands of students received their GCSE results this week, with more than a fifth (21.9%) of students who got their results being awarded a grade 7 (an A).

The 50-year-old pop singer is a proud mum-of-two, sharing sons Charley and Beau with ex-husband Jamie Redknapp, 52. Louise and Jamie tied the knot back in 1998 aboard the 130ft yacht Lady Tamara in Bermuda. Louise confessed to feeling like a “Stepford wife” at the time.

She stepped away from her music career to focus on family life and support her then-husband Jamie’s football career. But after her stint on Strictly Come Dancing, Louise realised she couldn’t return to just being a stay-at-home mum. Louise and Jamie subsequently split – with Jamie remarrying.
