Everyone is talking about Meghan’s new trailer… and her style!

Meghan Markle might have referenced her sister-in-law Kate Middleton during her latest tease of the second series of With Love, Meghan.

Netflix star Meghan shared a glimpse into the next season of With Love, Meghan, on August 12. It was here that she made a subtle nod to her estranged relative.

Meghan Markle ‘copies’ Kate Middleton in With Love, Meghan

All eyes are on Meghan Markle as she returns with the latest on With Love, Meghan season 2.

The duchess, 44, could be seen cooking up a storm and socialising with friends, where she seemingly was inspired by Kate Middleton.

Meghan and Kate are said to have had limited contact since 2019, amid a reported rift between Prince Harry and Prince William.

Despite their lack of communication, Meghan has seemingly emulated Kate’s style during her latest Netflix promotion.

Eagle-eyed fans have pointed out that Meghan sported a burgundy crew neck number, almost identical to one owned by Kate.

Meghan’s comfy top flaunted a raglan shoulder and five buttons spanning the forearms, just like one belonging to the Princess of Wales.

It is very similar to a neutral piece Kate wore whilst visiting Nottingham Trent University two years ago.

Kate styled her merino Sami jumper, at the time, with a matching skirt.

She complimented the chic outfit with pearl Simone Rocha earrings and suede heels.

Elsewhere, Meghan’s burgundy Sézane jumper is clearly a hit, as it has almost sold out on the Sézane website.

Meghan’s lavish Netflix wardrobe for With Love, Meghan

Although Meghan’s cosy jumper has a heftier price tag than Kate’s, it is still one of the cheaper options out of her wardrobe.

It seems the duchess has gone all out with her Netflix wardrobe. She has already been spotted wearing some lavish pieces in the latest With Love, Meghan trailer.

One notable item is a floral print midi dress with a belt by Carolina Herrera, worth £1,838 ($2,490).

Meghan favoured Herrera again, during the trailer, when she wore a striped shirtdress by the designer, worth £600 (around $800).

The Duchess of Sussex also sports an A-line midi dress by Veronica Beard in the footage. This piece was worth £214 (around $290), and she accessorised it with thousands of pounds of jewellery.

Her glamorous adornments included a diamond and gold necklace and pendant by Jessica McCormack, worth £8,800 (around $11k).

Harry and Meghan continue Netflix partnership

The latest look at With Love, Meghan comes after news that Meghan and Harry will continue their long-speculated-upon deal with Netflix.

Meghan said of their partnership with Netflix: “We’re proud to extend our partnership with Netflix and expand our work together to include the As Ever brand. My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work closely with us and our Archewell Productions team to create thoughtful content across genres that resonates globally.”
