Meghan Markle took to social media to share the love with mum Doria Ragland as she uploaded a sweet birthday post to mark her 69th birthday

Meghan Markle has shown her love for her mum as she wished her a happy birthday. The Duchess of Sussex took to social media to share the sweet message on her Instagram Stories.

In the post, Meghan simply wrote: “Happy Birthday to my beautiful mom!” She shared it alongside an image of her kissing her mum Doria on the side of the head as she beamed with delight.

The post had a love heart filter screen on, while Stevie Wonder’s Happy Birthday played in the background. Doria was celebrating her 69th birthday and the upload came just days after Meghan had also beamed over her family in another touching post.

On Monday, the former Suits actress took to social media to share a behind-the-scenes experience of working on her Netflix show, With Love, Meghan. She is once again joined by celebrity guests and famous chefs for the series.

And taking to Instagram, the mum-of-two showed off images Archie and Lillie listening to the show. There was also an appearance from husband Prince Harry and a playlist included in her upload.

In one snap posted on her Instagram account, Archie and Lilibet can be seen watching a screen on the set. In the image, Lilibet showed off her red locks as she can be seen holding a piece of equipment up to her ear to hear her mother’s commentary.

Archie is stood next to his little sister and appears to be holding a piece of sound equipment too as he watches a screen on the table. Other images of the pair are also shared, with one showing four-year-old Lilibet sitting on a chair behind the scenes of the set.

And Harry couldn’t escape an appearance either. The prince stood proudly for a photo opportunity alongside his wife and chef Clare Smyth, who was a guest on the second season of the show. The chef was tasked with making the food at the pair’s wedding in 2018.

Showing off the snaps, Meghan said: “Filming season two of ‘With Love, Meghan’ was more fun than you can imagine. Part of how we kept the vibe alive? Music.

“Between set ups I would play a song from my phone, and today I wanted to share some of the favorites I kept on rotation! Add them to your playlist, press shuffle, and enjoy! Happy Labor Day weekend! Work hard, play hard”.

Speaking about the set following the release of the first series in March, an anonymous member of the filming crew told PEOPLE : “Whenever Harry visited the set, he was always super polite and friendly, but it was clear he wanted this to be Meghan’s moment to shine.”

When discussing the duo’s young children, the crew member went on: “She [Meghan] was super attentive and doting on them. We would give them headphones so they could listen to audio.”
