EXCLUSIVE: Peter Andre is said to be ‘shocked’ over comments made by his former wife Katie Price relating to his two young children, whom he shares with his wife Dr Emily Andre

Peter Andre has been left “shocked” by comments made by his former wife, Katie Price. The former glamour model has been seen counting huge stacks of money in a video released by her ex, Alex Reid, despite being declared bankrupt twice.

In the bombshell video, she tells her and Peter’s daughter, Princess, 18, that her younger siblings, Pete’s children with his wife Emily, were “irrelevant.” Katie can be seen counting cash in the video, before asking her daughter whether singer Peter “go on about” her bankruptcy and finances “a lot”.

While sitting on a sofa, the television personality said that she was “enjoying counting” the piles of cash, adding: “There’s loads here… I’m just sorting it out.” Princess asked if Katie would be contributing to hers and Junior’s private school fees, before Katie says: “Your dad can sit on that,” while raising her middle finger.

Reflecting on her finances, Katie, sitting next to a Christmas tree, asks her daughter: “Does he go on about it a lot? Well, it’s tough because I’m in bankruptcy to next May now,” while mentioning her “London flat”, which she claimed to own, despite this not being traced by her bankruptcy trustees

One part of the clip saw Katie brand Peter’s second wife, Doctor Emily, and their two children “irrelevant”. A source told the Mirror: “He’s so shocked that she would do this in front of their young child and saying his young children are irrelevant. It’s not about the money. How could a mother do that about young children?”

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Peter added that he was drafting in his legal team. A spokesperson for Price told the Mirror: “This is a video that was shared with Katie’s Trustee in Bankruptcy several months ago, and Katie has fully complied with the Trustee’s investigations into the same.

“The cash featured did not belong to Katie, and the property referred to was dealt with in the financial settlement proceedings arising out of Katie’s divorce from Peter Andre. Katie’s Trustee in Bankruptcy is aware of the property and has undoubtedly investigated whether the same ought to be comprised in the bankruptcy estate.”

She was first declared bankrupt in 2019, relating to debts totalling £3.5million, including £970,639 to HMRC and for a second time in March last year, for £761,994, over a second unpaid HMRC demand for cash that she had earned while officially being bankrupt.

Creditors included her ex, Alex, who is owed £175,000 in High Court damages and costs, which he was granted after Katie revealed a sex tape, which he says was filmed without his consent. In the clip, Katie was heard saying she had “extended” her bankruptcy “because Alex Reid wants money from me and he won’t be able to get it… He’s an a***hole.”

In the video, which he shared yesterday, he said it was “unbelievable” as he watched Katie counting cash. “She just admitted she lied,” he said, before asking a person off camera: “Has my legal team seen this?”

He said in a statement: “Over the years, you have seen countless stories by Katie Price directed at me, Peter, Keiran and others. Today I want to be clear. I am spearheading a campaign to expose the truth. This isn’t about gossip but about evidence. It’s not about rumour, it’s about reality. After years of silence, the time has finally come to reveal all.”

The Mirror understands that the one minute and 38 second video, believed to have been filmed in late 2020, has been sent to Price’s bankruptcy trustee who continues to “seek realisations from various third parties”.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, speaking on her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Price said: “I’m not bankrupt anymore! I’m out of it, I’m out of both of them. The last six years have been hell – mentally and personally – everything has been hell. I’ve worked so hard to communicate and get rid of what caused all the trouble, and I’m out of it. It’s such a nice feeling not to be bankrupt anymore. I’m in control of everything now.”
