Peter Andre took to social media over the weekend to pay tribute to his wife as she marks her latest birthday – with his compliments coming days after he threatened to expose ex-wife Katie Price’s ‘lies’

Peter Andre made a gushing tribute to his wife, Emily – amid his explosive fall out with ex-wife Katie Price. Drama has been thrown on the Andre family after Pete lashed out at his troubled ex – accusing her of peddling lies about their family dynamic for years.

But over the weekend, he pushed the tension to one side to make his day all about his doctor wife, Doctor Emily Andre, who turned 36. Pop singer Peter, 52, and occasional TV star Emily have been an item since 2012.

They married in 2015 and have three children together: Amelia, 11, Theodore James, 8, and one-year-old Arabella Rose. Emily is also stepmother to Peter’s two oldest kids: 20-year-old son Junior and 18-year-old daughter Princess.

On Saturday, Peter made it clear that he and his family adore his wife, sharing a collection of images of her on his Instagram feed, which he also pinned to the top of his page. He gushed in an accompanying statement: “Happy Birthday, Emily. We love you beyond words.”

The cover image showed Emily flashing a beaming smile while wearing an elegant evening dress and dripping in jewels. While further snaps showed Peter proudly posing alongside her on various sun-soaked holidays.

The touching snaps came just days after Peter sensationally lashed out at Katie, 47, after she hinted she had been blocked from taking part in a recent documentary about daughter Princess. The star then went on to suggest Peter join her on her podcast so they could clear the air over their relationship as co-parents.

But reacting furiously to the proposal, Peter wrote in a stinging social media post: “For sixteen years, I have stayed silent in the face of repeated lies from my ex-wife and her family, out of respect for my children and loved ones, but staying silent has been incredibly frustrating. That ends today.

“The latest comments about my children’s welfare and living arrangements compel me to set the record straight. For well-documented reasons, and for their safety, Junior and Princess came into my care in 2018 and remained with me until they reached adulthood. In 2019, the family courts issued a legally binding order to enforce this arrangement. I have never made this public before, out of respect for my children.

“In 2011 and 2015, publicly documented court cases found my ex-wife had made false claims. She was ordered to pay substantial damages and legal costs, and to apologise to me and my management. The same falsehoods are being repeated today. Unfortunately, there are many more lies and baseless accusations I have yet to address. Those will now be dealt with in the coming months.”

His threat came after Katie previously claimed she was “very, very upset” over being excluded from taking part in an ITV documentary about her oldest daughter.

Speaking on her podcast last week, Katie proposed a face-to-face discussion with Peter and her former management The CAN Group, stating: “I feel like I’ve missed out on so much and it’s so not fair to bring Princess as piggy in the middle so I think it’s about time all of us adults just sit down and talk about what their beef is with me and just get over it. Life would be such more at peace.”

She also expressed wishes for herself and Peter to back their children together. Katie proposed: “There’s no reason why both parents can’t be there to support her.”

But her suggestion was met with an unexpected rejection from Peter, who is now threatening to leak truths about the nature of their relationship from the past 16 years. Katie has three other children – with eldest son Harvey, 23, from a past romance with footballer Dwigth Yorke.

Her two youngest kids, 11-year-old Bunny and 12-year-old Jett, are from her third marriage, which was with Kieran Hayler. The former couple were married from 2013 until their divorce in 2021.
