Princess Andre will be going head to head with her mum, Katie Price, which is set to ruffle feathers after the pair had already been engaged in an alleged feud

Princess Andre’s about to compete with her mother, Katie Price, as the reality star’s latest career move makes her a business rival for Katie. This comes shortly after Katie was cut out of Princess’s recent reality series, The Princess Diaries.

The 18-year-old has applied to trademark her name to use exclusively on her own beauty line. She has trademarked ‘Princess Andre’ under a number of beauty classifications, including eyelashes and eye brushes. With Katie already in the beauty business, this will put the mother and daughter head-to-head with their business ventures.

Having worn long fake eyelashes since she was young, Princess is well known for her eye makeup. The teenager previously landed a huge beauty deal with Superdrug and was unveiled as the face of the high-street brand’s affordable cosmetics, Studio London. She will continue to work with them for the next year.

An insider said that the brand “couldn’t wait to snap her up” thanks to her “wide appeal”. “Princess has been a huge hit with Superdrug and they couldn’t wait to snap her up again. She has such wide appeal and has already shown just how much she can do for the brand,” they told The Sun.

In The Princess Diaries, Princess was very clear that she wanted to start a beauty business. She had many conversations with Claire Powell, her dad Peter Andre’s agent and Katie’s former manager, about it, and Claire promised to help Princess. As such, Claire is handling the trademark application to the Intellectual Property Office.

One thing a lot of viewers noticed about The Princess Diaries was how absent Katie was from her daughter’s series. Much to the former glamour model’s anger, she was not a part of the show and has been very vocal about her feelings on the situation.

“I haven’t been allowed to go to any photo shoots, no signings, no openings. Nothing,” Katie said. She also said she was very upset that she was not allowed to go to Princess’s birthday party as she was not invited.

She accused her ex, Peter, of refusing to be there if she was. Princess has said this is not tru,e and instead, it was Katie who would not be in the same room with her ex.

Peter has also accused Katie of lying about her relationship to him and his family, and even revealed he would be taking legal action because of the “baseless accusations” she is said to have levelled against him.

Katie not only has an existing feud with Peter, but she also seems to have one with both her children, as she slammed their National Television Awards outfits on her podcast recently. Talking to her listeners, she called son Junior Andre’s outfit “fancy dress” and said she told both of them to “sack the stylist”.

She also unfavourably compared her daughter to Love Island star Maura Higgins. She revealed to listeners that she also told Princess that her outfit was “too old” for her. “I said, ‘Princess I didn’t like your dress either it was too old for you, look at Maura Higgins’ she looked amazing!”
