Tamzin Outhwaite seemingly extended an olive branch to her ex-husband, Tom Ellis, when she re-posted one of his Instagram photos to her own Stories. EastEnders star Tamzin and Lucifer actor Tom tied the knot in 2006 after first being introduced by actor James McAvoy.

However, their nine-year marriage ended in 2014. Tamzin shares two children with Ellis – Flo, 17, and Marnie, 12. The two had a difficult relationship, with Tamzin accusing him of being unfaithful in a quickly deleted Instagram post. And now, she is seemingly offering a truce when she shared one of his posts.

She shared his photo from the premiere of his new film, The Thursday Murder Club, which featured him posing with his children. “My heart is bursting,” she added onto the post, followed by the hashtag, ‘suchaproudmama’.

Tom has a daughter from a previous relationship and is also a father to a one-year-old baby girl with screenwriter wife, Meagan Oppenheimer.

It comes after Tamzin opened up about co-parenting with Tell Me Lies star Tom, revealing that he has been “in and out” of their children’s lives.

Speaking candidly on the Parenting Hell podcast, she opened up about the painful split.

She went on to detail her life now, including the difficulty of co-parenting with him, and the pride she feels in how far she and her family have come.

When podcast host Josh Widdicombe mentioned the split happened “about 10 years ago,” she replied: “Yeah, it was literally when the kids were tiny. Marnie was not even one.”

Expanding on Tom’s role in their lives, she continued, “He lives in LA. So he’s pretty in and out of their lives, but they have a lot of support and people that have been around.”

It came after she posted a statement on social media in 2023 saying: “10 years since the father of my kids walked out on us for the final time.

“I still meet new people on jobs who reveal more infidelities and lies that he committed. But thankfully my heart and soul are clear and clean and I could not be happier right now.”

Last year, in an interview with OK!, Tamzin said she was “happy single” before adding: “There’s a lot on! Life is really busy, throwing a relationship into that is a whole other thing. Freedom fills up my cup, freedom to do as you please is a lovely thing. That makes me happy.”
