Kanye released a text fighting with his ex wife over the trademark

KIM Kardashian’s trademark over her daughter North’s name has expired as she argues with her ex-husband Kanye West over their oldest child’s song release.

Kanye, 47, went on a X rant over the weekend and hit out at his ex-wife Kim, 44, as he shared a now-deleted text of their bitter exchange over their daughter’s trademark.

The argument came after Kanye posted the song Lonely Roads Still Go To Sunshine featuring North and Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is currently in federal prison on sex trafficking charges on X.

The U.S. Sun can exclusively reveal North’s trademarks have actually been abandoned and are currently listed as “dead.”

According to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, one trademark for North West’s name filed on March 10, 2023 is listed as “abandoned” as of March 18, 2024.

The trademark covered, “Advertising services, namely, promoting the brands, goods and services of others. Endorsement services, namely, promoting the goods and services of others. Providing information about commercial business and commercial information via the global computer network.

“Retail store services featuring gifts, general consumer merchandise, apparel, apparel accessories, toys, sporting goods, beauty products, cosmetics, skincare and fragrances. Retail store services featuring hair care and hair styling products.”

According to documents, the trademark was abandoned because the office did not receive within six months of the Notice of Allowance “a statement of use or request for extension of time to file a statement of use.”

Another trademark under North’s name, which was filed in February 2019 and abandoned in April 2023, covers, “Entertainment in the nature of providing information by means of a global computer network in the fields of entertainment and pop culture; entertainment services, namely, personal appearances by a celebrity.”

A trademark under North’s name filed in February 2019, was abandoned in October 2023.
