A “very forward” Taylor Swift “literally cornered” early 2000s heartthrob Tyler Hilton to ask him to star in one of her first music videos when the rising country star was just 15, he reveals in a new interview.

Plus, the global superstar is reportedly set to have a role in a long-running and highly anticipated soccer rivalry matchup — read on for everything we know.

Lil Nas X came close to collaborating with Taylor Swift, but he turned it down.

“We were working on something,” the rapper, 25, told E! News Thursday.

“She offered to let me try a verse on something, but I couldn’t catch a vibe for it, so it didn’t happen.”

Though Lil Nas X didn’t “even want to talk about” the missed opportunity, he is still “proud of [his] girl.”

He gushed, “She’s been doing her thing. She’s at the very tippety top. I’m thankful that she even considered me.”

The “Old Town Road” musician is admittedly holding out hope that he and the pop superstar, 35, will work together down the line.

“When it happens, global. World,” he vowed. “Tay-Tay and Nassy.”

No need to wish on a wishing star —Taylor Swift asked Tyler Hilton directly whether he would appear in her “Teardrops on My Guitar” music video.

The “One Tree Hill” alum told Us Weekly Friday that the “very forward” pop star “literally corner[ed]” him in 2007 after he watched her perform at “a little country bar in Southern California.”

At the time, the then-15-year-old said, “I didn’t want to ask you backstage because I was afraid you’d say no, but would you be in my next music video?’”

Swift was a “huge … fan” when she met Hilton, and the duo subsequently “became close.”

The actor gushed about living on the Grammy winner’s family’s boat when he moved to Nashville — and even hearing Swift perform songs in her bedroom straight from her diary.

Hilton admitted to the outlet that he “actually can’t believe she became as famous,” comparing the songwriter to the “earnest” and “nerdy girl in high school.”
