Fox & Friends co host Rachel Campos-Duffy has a heartwarming TV moment with daughter. Shares new plans

Rachel Campos-Duffy, a Fox News host, recently appeared on Fox & Friends alongside her four-year-old daughter, Valentina StellaMaris Duffy, to bring attention to National Down Syndrome Day.
At 52, Campos-Duffy is a mother of nine and shared how Valentina, who has Down syndrome, has been a profound influence on her family.
She emphasized that her youngest child has taught her eight siblings the value of patience and understanding.

During the segment, Campos-Duffy spoke passionately about the importance of recognizing the worth of individuals with Down syndrome.
She expressed concern over the high rate of prenatal terminations involving Down syndrome diagnoses, stating, “So many children with Downs are being exterminated in the womb, and I think that when people get to meet them and see how wonderful they are, we are going to see less of that.”
By sharing her personal experience, Campos-Duffy aimed to highlight the joy and love that children with Down syndrome bring to their families, hoping to shift perceptions and encourage acceptance.

During the segment her mom took the opportunity to say. “I think it’s really important to raise awareness because actually, a lot of women get this diagnosis, a lot of them, and they will get fearful,” she explained.
She reassured viewers that children with Down syndrome are like any other child, facing only a few additional challenges, sometimes medical in nature. “Some of them are prone to heart conditions, maybe some thyroid stuff. But all of that is very treatable,” she said, encouraging families not to be afraid.
Campos-Duffy praised Valentina, calling her a source of joy and love in their household. “She is as lovely, as precious, as joyful as any other child,” she said. “In fact, I would say our family is better because of her. I think our kids have learned tolerance and patience. They’ve learned to be helpful,” she shared.
During the segment, Valentina showcased her Pilates skills to Ainsley Earhardt and happily played around the studio, capturing the hearts of those around her. Campos-Duffy added that Valentina is the family’s favorite, a beloved presence who has made their lives richer and more fulfilling.
