Travis Kelce has given an emotional response to the news that Jason and Kylie’s dog Baloo has died, almost exactly a year after the passing of their other Irish wolfhound Winnie.

Kylie announced the shock news in a heartbreaking Instagram post, a day before her 33rd birthday and just weeks out from the birth of her fourth child.

‘When I told the girls that Baloo was going to leave us, Ellie asked where he was going,’ she said on social media.

‘I told her that he was going to heaven and without skipping a beat she replied, “Oh! He’ll get to be with Winnie again! They’ll be so happy to see each other!”

‘We were lucky enough to have 7 years with the goofiest, sweetest, most lovable, and tolerant dog l’ve ever met. He wanted nothing more than carbs and pets.

‘He was a simple guy, held together by bubble gum and paper clips. The heartbreak is immense, but as Ellie so perfectly pointed out, the Winnie-Bubba reunion had to be pure magic. Miss you already Bubbies.’

Among the first to the comment section was Jason’s brother Travis, who commented with a pair of crying emojis, such is his own devastation at the news.

Jason and Travis’ mom Donna also commented: ‘My heart goes out to you!!!!’

Baloo was a boy and Winnie was female – and Kelce has said before that she thinks of Winnie as her first child.

Baloo will also be remembered by ardent fans of the Kelce family for gatecrashing an episode of New Heights by barking in the background or even once running across the screen.

‘Goddamn, what the f*** is that?’ Travis said to his brother after seeing the size of Baloo, before laughing at him climbing onto Jason’s sofa.

‘Oh nice, he just wanted to get on that nice cool leather couch. Pet him, you gotta pet him, you can’t just let him in!’

Announcing Winnie’s death last March, Kelce wrote: ‘When I was in high school I had a folder on my desktop labeled “Gods gift to earth”. It was images of Irish Wolfhounds that I had collected from Google.

‘I had fallen in love with the breed when I was a young and never let my fascination with them fade. It all lead me to Winnie and holy s*** did she live up to the hype. She was everything I had hoped for in a Wolfie and more.

‘I lost part of my soul today, but I know she is at peace. I love you, Winn. You will always be my first born child.’

The Kelces announced back in November that they were expecting their fourth child -a fourth daughter.

The news, which was revealed on Kylie’s Instagram page, showed an image of their three daughters – Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett – all wearing sweaters that say ‘Big Sister’ on them.

The caption to the post read, ‘I feel like we captured a very accurate representation of how each of the girls feel about getting another sister. At least Ellie, mom and dad are on the same page!’

In the photo, Wyatt (the oldest) looks shocked by the news while Bennett (the youngest) is crying.

Meanwhile, Elliotte (the middle child), is seen smiling after hearing the news from her parents.
